A Final
Tribute |
“Berit is
an incredibly gifted athlete as well as a
student. Her on-ice talents and skating ability
allow her to play any position extremely well. She can skate
backwards as well as anyone can skate forward in the state.
In four
years, we have never seen her get beat in a 1-on-1 situation.
She
possesses one of the best wrist shots and slap shots in all of girls
hockey, and she’s deadly accurate with each. Yet Berit’s most valued
talent is her ability to see the ice, see the play develop and then
make the most accurate pinpoint pass to her teammate.
She may be the
best pure passer in the state. She usually draws two forecheckers
for fear of her skating the puck out of the defensive zone.”
